TALENTS PARTNERS is recruiting for its client a Business Development Manager.

Position Purpose:

To handle business development in Europe for cable protection material:

  1. Ability to understand & comprehend customer pain areas and use it as an opportunity
  2. Self Motivated & Starter
  3. Aggressive Business Hunting for New Customers
  4. Key Account Management to a certain degree
  5.  Ability to effectively communicate

Duties & Responsibilities:

The main role will involve : Hunting New customers in Europe for optical cable protection material (80%) and  partially managing some key accounts (20%).

New Business: (70-80%)

  • Identifying New Customers for selling the product (Lead Generation).
  • Working on the various leads generated & getting RFQ.
  • Visiting various clients on a regular basis for Sales Promotion & generating business.
  • Collect market intelligence, map market & competitive scenario, analyze trends in End user markets.
  • Prepare proposal, negotiate commercials, qualify product and get new customers onboard (Get POS).
  • Co-ordinate with plants to ensure timely sample and Pilot lot submission.
  • Qualify new products
  • Explore opportunities to tie up with other companies/ distributors to generate new business.
  • Develop marketing and sales strategy to achieve maximum market share and margin.
  • Periodic submission of MIS and reviews.

Existing Business: (20-30%)

  • Handling some Key accounts and ensuring increase in share of business.
  • Generating Enquiries from the existing customers for existing and new products.
  • Formulating strategy for marketing the products.
  • Qualifying new products with existing customers.
  • Gather market intelligence and competitive scenario along with demand forecast.
  • Making presentation and engagement at all levels in the customers Organization.
  • Ensuring that the Gross Margins are achieved for the products.
  • Negotiation with the Customers on the Price, delivery and the orders.
  • Timely accounts receivable as per the contract.
  • Periodic submission of MIS and reviews.

Candidate Qualification & Experience

Bachelor/ Masters in Business Administration- Marketing. Technical Degree in Engineering would be an added advantage.

Preferably from Electrical companies, cable manufacturing (Not a must).
