As part of our research we are recruiting for our client a Site Plant Controller.
Role Summary/Purpose :
The Site Plant Controller is responsible for pricing & margin activities, participating in the monthly closing, financial reporting and budget preparation. Quotation responsibilities include reviewing and responding to inquiries, and performing analysis and collaborating with other key business functions (Sales, Operations & Supply Chain) to develop and finalize quotes.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Perform data analysis to support pricing activities and provide recommendations.
- Update price trackers and pricelists for the Site customers.
- Support New Business Opportunities/Industrializations (NBO/NBI) pricing analysis and implementation.
- Finalize Requests for Quotations (RFQ’s) for Sales Team on price requirements, and provide a response in a timely manner meeting KPI’s established by the BU.
- Provide the quarterly analytical accounting according to the BU methodology.
- Perform and lead the quarterly Site Margin Review with the dedicated comity.
- Evaluate and track Continuous Improvement savings on a monthly basis.
- To be involved in the monthly closing (inventory valuation, costs controlling…)
- Ensure the monthly financial reporting of the P&L (profit & loss).
- Participate in Forcasting and Budgeting activities.
Qualifications/Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree Business, Finance, Economics, Controlling or related area.
- 4+ years’ experience in finance, controlling in a manufacturing company.
- Considerable IT experience. A good working knowledge of spreadsheet packages is essential (strong Excel skills). SAP experience would be an advantage.
- Excellent communicator with an ability to work collaboratively with horizontal functions.
- Detail oriented and highly organized with strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Witten and spoken English is a must.
