Dans le cadre de nos recherches nous recrutons pour notre client un AUTOMOTIVE DESIGNER.
Mission :
- The mission consists of: carrying out R&D studies relating to customer projects
Responsabilités:
- Design and develop models and prototypes;
- Development of technical files of products, production conditions and cost structures;
- Feasibility study of new product design projects;
- Carrying out tests and trials,
- Exploitation of the results and determination of the adjustments of the product, the material, the process;
- Collection and synthesis of information concerning products, markets (trends, consumption, competition, results on current products);
- Validation and launch of prototypes or pre-series until they are put into production;
- Studies of industrial processes (new and to be adapted);
- Scientific and technical watch in its field of competence.
- Validation of parts and design plans with customers
- Propose SMART solutions to customers during product design and modifications
- Design products according to ergonomics, the required aerodynamics, the desired aesthetic dimension and the necessary manufacturing processes.
- Innovate while meeting the technical constraints and budgets of each product.
- Know how to choose materials, shapes and colors according to the specifications.
- Contribute to taking into account REACH environmental requirements
- Make and pilot FMEA products
- Fill in external databases (IMDS, REACH, ROHS, MACSI, customer, etc.)
Profil requis :
- Bac+2 in BTS design or equivalent
- Experience in the automotive and plastics industry (minimum 2 years)
- Listening, exchanging, arguing: knowing how to communicate with interlocutors at different levels.
- Get organized: independently organize your own work within your scope of responsibility, and in particular the sequencing of actions, in accordance with the priorities defined.
- Spirit of creativity and finding solutions
- Knowledge of industrial processes
- Knowledge of plastics and assembly techniques
- Knowledge of specific requirements: Knowledge of QHSE standards and customer technical standards
- Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, CATIA…).
- Language skills: French, fluent English
- Technical knowledge: Industrial design, Process engineering, Chemical engineering, Industrial engineering, FMEA
- Knowledge of plastic materials, mixture formulation, simulation model, lab tests
- Use of Computer-Aided Design and Drafting software – CAO/DAO
